What
is Pilates?
Pilates is a system of movement and exercise created and developed in the early 1900's by Joseph Pilates. The method involves controlled resistance exercises designed to strengthen and stretch muscles, open up joints and create a core of strong lower and deeper abdominal and mid back muscles. With a focus on 'Core Conditioning', Pilates exercises train several muscle groups at once using smooth continuous movements which strengthen and elongate your muscles and at the same time cleanse your body from toxins and improve mental focus. With regular training you will improve concentration, increase energy levels, and clear your mind, enabling your entire body to work more efficiently.
